A skater buddy of mine let me know today that a skate shop opened in San Marcos yesterday. I don't think we have many riders in that area on here, but I'm spreading the word regardless.
I checked it out today and am stoked about it. They keep a stock of short and long boards of various good brands. The longboards I saw were mostly gravity and dogtown, but they had a fibreflex on the wall for sale. They stock mostly Randals and Indys in all lengths but wanna take it further when they gain momentum; good thing they started with the best brands. Wheels were mostly Abec11 types (good ###### deal) with some gravity and tunnels in the mix. I saw mostly reds in the case but we joked about selling swiss and i put my 2 cents in on biltins. As far as small shops go starting up they had good selection. A lot of good choices were made in what to stock and it'll only get better.
The staff are legit to. I chilled in there just shootin #### about skating and they definitely know a thing. Me and one owner were sharing sob stories about how they dont make noskoolz anymore and talkin about local runs. We also talked equipment and board preferences and all that. Good stuff. They seem set on building the community up here and I'm hyped about that, as i'm on the same mission. The "staff boards" rack had pintails and minis mostly but I saw a BE40 with zigs and other abecs looking well used.
It was just tight as hell hanging out there for a while. I definitely recommend checking it out.
If you're in the area and wanna check it out, it's on s LBJ south of hutchinson, between the graff shop and Classic Tattoos. If you live around here, hit me up and we can put it down.

In store are an assortment of Boards, Tees, Hoodies, and now Hats. We've also got a case of trucks, wheels, bearings, and all the stuff to make it work. We do all the installs for free, even if you only get a board to replace that broken deck. We carry several types of grip tape including multiple solid colors, some misc. patterns, TruGrit, Jessup, and Mobb; we've got rolls so we can cut for any size board.
We cater to to Longboards, Minis, and anyone riding old school. Everything you need for any discipline is here or available to you by order. If we don't have it, take a look out any of our many catalogs and pick something out. We'll have it to you with our next shipment in.

You guys carry Khiro? It's all about the bushings.....
SA shops (near me) are really clueless when it comes to longboarding, they truly just don't know. Glad to see you and your shop are covering that part of the industry. I spend a lot $$ on skateboarding, sad it does not go to local shops. We have a small organization of longboarders, you should post your presence on our thread, search "San Antonio Longboarders"
I will try to make your opening on the 18th.
Oh yeah, Welcome to the Fish................................

We do have Khiro mainly hardware(bolts and risers). We have shorty's doh-doh bushings and independent bushings. Working on contacting Khiro directly. One big thing today reps from GromBiz came by the shop. Spencer the Texas rep and Ben the creator came by the shop today and soon we should have some GromBiz C11's in and hopefully once the c2's are available we should be getting those as well. Come down and check us out.
Sup Chris? if you didnt get it I'm Desmond, but its probly obvious. Also Hanael works at Carve with Robbie, and i doubt he'll mind talkin business and whatnot here thru the fish.
I'm glad yall got the grombiz thing off the ground, god knows i wanna ride them. I'm definately gonna be around for the grand opening so I guess we'll put it down then. I'm diggin what yall are doin, keep up the stoke
