Who here rides in austin?! I go to UT and my roommate and a friend of mine go hit garages near the UT campus and downtown. What spots do you guys like to hit around austin?
Hey, i just got my first board, so haven't had too much of a chance to explore. Id be down to ride some night and find some good ones. I know of one parking garage downtown i used to go to on my bike.
But hey yeah, im a student at UT and live in west campus. We should ride sometime

We meet every Monday night around 10PM downtown at Wahoo's Fish Tacos on Rio Grande between 5th and 6th streets. Usually have 10 to 30 riders go out with us to hit many garages and hills in the downtown area. be prepared to push about 3 to 4 miles throughout the night. Skill level does not matter as long as you want to skate. If your slow don't worry we have many beginners and people who will stay back to show the way. We try to make sure we have everyone with us before moving to the next spot. This coming Monday, March 16th, we are having a movie watching session there at Wahoo's beginning at 7:30pm to watch a new HD lonboard movie that came out. there will be prizes and giveaways froma few companies including Bustin and orangefist followed by the regular Monday night skate session. please come join us and meet more skaters in your area
People need to quit worrying (or even caring) about which company is cool, or core, or whatever label you want to pin on them. A lot of so-called "bro-brah" companies are run by assholes.
Well I'm definitely gonna hit up the Austinlongboardclub sessions soon. I also go to UT but I live southwest.
My friend has access to the garage on 9th and colorado so we hit that up or some SICK hills in Westlake.
