DH spots in tucson AZ

im looking for any DH spots in tucson/ Oro Valley, spots with hairpins and sharp turns... all the spots i can find are pretty straight

HAHA dude. MT. LEMMON! 22 miles of glorious downhill at around 40-45

gates pass looks fun ( i think i've been down it in a car before), but sentinel peak looks pretty straight... im not sure how fun that would be

Yo I know a couple of sick spots. my favorite is 1st ave, but not the 1st ave, if your at Oracle and Magee drive east up magee and evetualy you will hit a T intersection park at the top of 1st and its instantly sick, this is where i taught myself. at the bottom you turn left on suffolk and walk up the small hill its down hill the rest of the way, its a little bumpy but really fun. its about a mile downhill and ends at oracle so its kind of a sucky walk back but i've done it 3-4 times in one outing.
A crazy windy spot are the roads north on Campbell at the skyline intersection, I had a bad crash there a while back and have not been in a while so I don't remember exactly what is what but there are quite a few windy ass fast and fairly empty streets all over.

I'm not much for DH at this moment, but I'm moving to Tucson in about a month and would like to meet up with some local 'fishers to skate: carve, "freeride", whatever works. Post something in this thread if you wouldn't mind showing me some hills, and I'll shoot you a PM once I get down there.

Thanks for the replies. I'm moving to an apartment on the NE side near the intersection of Speedway and N. Harrison Road. Would be happy to drive wherever (in Tucson) to skate.

Bump to Mad Coyote and Super Duper Dude. Just got into town a few days ago. Still waiting on board to arrive with moving company. Working on getting acclimated to the area but I'll get a hold of you guys in the next couple weeks to skate.

I'll also fire off some PMs in the near future.

I'm also trying to get more into downhill, i enjoy carving but i want to start getting some speed under my feet. So if you guys don't mind bringing around someone who isn't that experienced in DH, PM me..
