well i am using Abec11 wheels of different sizes between 80 and 90mm. for very rainy conditions, i use rubber Xtreme wheels. as long as the course has nice long straight lines or long turns, you can use most types of urethan wheels. the trick is that when you have to make sharp turns, you want to be sticked to the road.
anyway, don't choose wheels which are too hard

I recommend big zigs or gumballs. The s9 speedvents are supposed to be nice, as well as the otangs.

While I like the flywheels, the big zigs are a good wheel but cheaper.

I was thinking of 83 or 80mm flywheels.. Thats what i ride with my longboard so i figured it would be a litttle more convenient if i ever run into a wheel problem... still havent decided..VERY new to this

83mm flywheels are a great wheel. I run either flyhweels or bigzigs. The bigzigs seem to work a little better on technical courses.

I mainly recommend big zigs because they are a cheaper wheel than flywheels. But if you already have a stash of them, then by all means run the flywheels.

Yeah like Chris was saying, the Big Zigs are a good choice and so are the FlyWheels. I currently have been using Flywheels for fast wide turns and BigZigs for more technical courses. I also have tried the Seismic Speedvents and i really like those, they are fast and still give you exceptional grip, great wheel.
