What is a good starter buttboard. Or how can you make one with some old longboard trucks and wheels?

I copied this design for my first one and it has worked well for riders of all shapes and sizes. Then you can make your own to play around with wheelbases and such. They're pretty easy to make and a ton of fun.

We are going over the IGSA rule book and it looks like we might make them from pressed Bamboo! I wil lobby my Poly design and see if it will be OK8)

Either way man,... Im not a competition rider, but it would be cool to see a poly one just for people to ride.
