Street luge internet presense?

Hey now!

Is is only me or is street luge rather abscent on the internet? There are not sites, and most of them have not been updated since 2005 or so.

Are there any sites still operating, with active forums and info other than Street-Luge.com - Going Downhill, Fast

Lets make a compilation in this very thread!

The lack of internet material shouldn't dictate hobby popularity.

I haven't seen anyone on SF from Jax Beach, FL. Hundreds of people longboard there.

Visibility most certainly affects popularity.

This brings up the very old gravity riding controversy: soulriders vs. competitors/pros/sponsors.

how true that is. plus i had to stop riding because i cant pay the tickets. i look at my sled all the time then look at my wallet. always empty for anther ticket

Streetluge.com is usually up when I check it out. It's run by a guy that loves the sport and for the right reasons. Sadly, without XGames and such, streetluge can't be much more than its outlaw roots with periodic opportunities to race formally when IGSA supports it in events. Nature of the beast.

hey iam trying to put a event on in Phoenix az in 6 mounths. it mostlikly will be down south mountain. luge, butt boarding, down hill, so hit my thread in az now and then to see what is happening. spread the word.
