Default So I decided to build another QUALITY luge.

    Hello Everyone,

So, I have decided to build another Streetluge. After over ten years of racing and building different luges. I have finally come up with a pegless design that will be best luge I have built to date. I raced at EDI and Rail events over the years.

Side note: Hey Chris I found this photo of you in front of me at my favorite EDI event.

There wasn't much more I could refine in this 5th version. The main difference is this one will have everything designed and made from scratch. Now don't take that too litteral, I don't mean I'm at the foundry pouring metal, or extruding it. It does mean, that I'm using my engineering backround for myself, instead of my job. Also I'm having molds made for Carbon Fibre, as well as the bumpers. Other work to this Luge will include CNC'd 70 series aluminum, aircraft riveting, and hidden deep welds, powder coating, and themes (think American Chopper paint jobs) Everything will be finished to a "triple A" standand. Im not cutting any areas on this one. I'm sparring no expence. If you are wondering how good it will look, take a look at the Randel Comp 2's, Cherry Bomb wheels, and Fly Wheels. I made in the computer. I molded these items as well as other wheels to figure out precise geomerty for the build.

Anyway, I have said all of this to say, after I build my first one, and have the molds finished, the machine work done, and everything else ready. I will probably be building 3-5 more that are theamed and will be put up for sale. Everything will be custom to those luges as well. One off carbon fenders, and custom machine work done, just for each theme. I won't be posting pics of the luge design until it's built.
Since everthing will be designed to fit each specific luge, the parts won't fit other luges. So I won't be selling spare parts.

Holy cow, is the St George? Or Santa Rosa?

What size is that flywheel supposed to be? 90?

    Sana Rosa. ( in 99 or 2000 I believe)
That course was my personal favorite. My adrenaline spiked every time I would loose traction over that bridge before the finish. Those 90mm double poured (white/blue) Labeda's Biker gave me where sketchy!

Yes, it is a 90mm Fly wheel.

I do have photo's of my previous luge somewhere. Ill have to look.
