today i went do a hill with some what a lot of bumps and i wasnt paying attention and the bumps get me speedwooble and i all most fell, well i did but not as bad my hads just got cut up and i brused my ankel by puting my foot down and trying to stopp. what should i do to prevent speed wooble
for luge/buttboarding you want to get close to the 60/40 weight distribution over the trucks with maybe even a little more over the front if its on a normal skate. and if your hands got cut up then you need to get some gloves. they can help a lot.

i was there, and i will tell u wat really happend
he when down, got speed "woobles" and fell into the grass.(and u had gloves on) there was no injurys.

FreeRider. you know you already have a post % of about 20 post a day. 45 post's in 2 days thats more than MHM. not saying thats bad. just noticed alot of posts by u all of a sudden.
a lot of people don't realize bumps can cause speed wobbles. if you stay loose and relaxed that should help. what happens to a lot of new riders is that they get wobbles from hitting bumps so they keep tightening their trucks more and more and before they realize it, they can't make any turns.
What I do is sit almost on the front truck first of all. When you hit the bumps, just touch your heels down a little for stability, not to slow you down really, just a little touch. Keep your body loose, don't clamp yourself onto the board. What you want is for your body to act not really like a shock absorber, but think of it as something that the motion gets transfered into instead of your trucks if that makes sense. Just remember to loosen up and stabilize yourself, then get back into it and speed the hell up! (that's what this is all about right?)
