Default Wheels for Buttboard

MHS is having a sale on 70 mm Flashbacks in 84a duro, 65 mm No Schoolz in 75a and 78a, and 66 mm Strikers in 75a and 78a. Which should I go with for a buttboard?

I'd go with Lime ZigZags, but of those choices I'd go with the 70mm Flashbacks.

I'm building this for my friend. It will be his first board of any kind and he doesn't want to spend a lot of money. I'll keep the Zig Zags in mind though. You don't think the 84a duro will be too hard?

84a will be drifty.

Personally I wouldn't go with any of these choices. I think 84a is WAY too hard, even for Flashbacks. I don't know much about Strikers and No Schoolz, but my feeling is both of these wheels won't have enough traction.

Spend the extra money and get some Grippons or Zigs, or even some softer flashbacks.
BUT if you have to go with the above wheels, go for the flashbacks.

What's about 70mm Kryptonics Classics / Route in 78a?
They are cheep and if he like buttboarding and want to go faster, he can buy himself the wheel, Chris mentioned and can use the Kryptonics for rain riding (they are perfect for that).
IMO, you can't go wrong with this.

Checked MHS and it seems, that he do not sell Kryptonics or any other buttboard related cheap wheel (less than 30$), so listen to Chris.

I ended up getting a package off ebay with Randal RIIs and Pink Seven'Os. I can't wait for them to come so I can start building the buttboard. I would've got them from MHS, but he didn't have Randal RIIs.

Thumbs up Re: Wheels for Buttboard

Pink SevenO's and R2 do sound like a real good choice. Brilliant buy.
