That pavement sounds rough! Or is it just the wind and the camera?
We call that road "Cheese Grater." A set of 70 mm wheels might last one morning session. I had to replace mine that day when one coned so badly it began to melt the hub.
Also to note is that we use support people with radios. They signal the road is clear before the riders take off, and for the short time we are on the road the support staff mans the two potential entry points. We all take turns driving and working support.
