Hey I am new to the sport if street luge but have been interested in for a while. I live in sitka alaska and need to start a new sport in my small town. I would like to purchase a used luge to learn on.. Anybody with a good deal i have cash please let me know if you have one for sale. I am looking for one ASAP thanks
Well there are many luge fabricators out there, but not many have stocks of trucks, wheels and bearings. you should stock up and then get a Rogers, a TRS or a Street-Missile, depending on your budget.
I bought a 4'x8' piece of 3/4" Baltic Birch plywood from Lowes and made two Gumball Machines and two buttboards with a 24" ruler, a pencil, and a Skil Saw.
I totally agree with [Ben] Me and my friend built one and they rock. Ghetoist luge on the planet haha

I believe you will have to wait for another batch to be built.
"Fast" Fred D of Street-Missile is gonna be building another batch really soon if you wanna hook up with one of those. $400 unfurnished, $500 Furnished and painted, $450 Furnished and unpainted.
$500 furnished and painted? Hm. I may need a luge for my girl if she keeps up with the sport...
and leathers and a wedge helmet. finding a small wedge and leathers to fit her tits is gonna be hard...
