I know that there are a bunch of instructions on how to build one, but to save time, if anyone out there has a decent one that they would be willing to sell, I might damn well be interested. I missed out for stand up at Maryhill, and this might be my backup right now. I may buiild my own, and see how that goes, so if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it

Chris
They sell them at Home Depot... Some assembly and cutting might be required.
Tim Novak sells a deck (HAE) I wonder if you can still get a Lott Classic somewhere? You can ask him at his site ButtBoarding.com
BUT I have to say, unless you have killer abs, you won't want to ride buttboard at Maryhill all day. You might be able to get a couple of runs in the morning, and a couple in the afternoon.

Well Well mr Mcbride have we been working out?
Chris is so right, last year I thought I would take a brake from stand up and ride my classic, well lets say that I only did that once. This year I'v been climbing alot ....so I´m ready and this year I'll pass you on the inside Mcbride

There are lots more out there, some more helpful and some not but all will help guide you in the right direction.
To build a luge that will be safe and well designed, prepare to know how/have the equipment for (or access to it):
Cutting sheet aluminium and rectangular stock
Bending sheet metal
Bending metal tubing (I assume you'll go boomless, so you'll want wraparound handlebars)
Other than that it takes some 6061 stock and time and a good mind for building things (some call it designing, some call it engineering, I call it fun).
If you have SketchUp I can share a model of a boomless that I was designing (and have half done) before I bought my RBros.
I guess that was a lot, and sorta off-topic... but a buttboard is a plank of wood... a streetluge is made of metal and must be a balance of smart design and safe construction. Good luck!

DH Setup - Dregs Race, Bombers, Orangatangs
Some other skateboards.
Luge - Roger Bros. Pegless, 83mm Amber Flys, Z-Rollers
and isn't SC8 not producing/in business anymore? Their luge is sexalicious, and that buttboard is the only one I've seen that has a butt-drop.

The Lang Bros made a BEAUTIFUL "dropped" board as well.
I just saw an HAE buttboard on ebay...
The land bros told me that they would not make any more of them and sc8 are not around any more (I have one) ..just get a plant and put some wheels on it.
