no hay on that guard rail with the timer? thats how people get hurt.
'
Seriously, your posts get worse and worse.
CRASHING is how people get hurt. Whether or not there is some hay around, if you go down at 155km/h, you're going to get hurt. If you're not confident in your abilities and/or you're scared of crashing, don't ride hills like the one in the video. Obviously these guys are top-notch riders with lots of skill. That is why they're in the video going fast as hell, and why you do nothing but post useless and negative #### on the internet.
i just mentioned they should have had some precaution. kevin is good, hit a guardrail with no hay and his knee was torn up one summer, ask him if preventative measures are worthwhile regardless of how confident you are of your skills. what i said was realistic, sorry you take offense to safety suggestions.
the hills in this area look good.

That link is bunk. You're bunk. People like you are why Silverfish sucks.
thats the area, its all over the news, drive around and you will find some great hills.
how come you dint mention the above posted youtube link with the name in the left hand corner. this is not a private event, its a publicity stunt.
the logic that it will be flooded with kids is nonsense. no one in their right mind would skate that unless they knew they were good. ever felt that way?
i wish someone had posted that for me. i wanted to know where it was. so how come i should keep myself iggnorant of knowledge? so the locals can take people there without them going on their own. if they were so concerned they should have petitioned redbull not to have the event and blow up the spot. did any of that happen?
i have crappysurfer videoing spots i grew up at, spots i like to go for peace of mind when i come home these days. its cool to see others there skating and for the neighbors to see who filled my shoes.

Hahahahahaah
It's crazy! You REALLY ARE stupid LOL!
Ok new riders in the north east, looking for thrills, thanks to Speedfiend, come over here, ruin the spot and kill yourself on a hill only few people are skilled enough to ride hahhaa
And BTW, Kevin's crash happened 2 or 3 years ago... he wasnt even close to the skilled rider he is now.
Damn, you're great
More seriously, please, contact us before going over there

yea, give me the credit for outing that spot. not redbull, the lugers, the tv people. none of the people who did the actual work, me for disseminating the information.
sweet, accidents happen no matter the confidence or skill level of a rider, thats what haybales are for. it strikes me as shortsighted or maybe even cheap not to have any when a guy on a luge is flying by a stationary object at almost a hundred miles an hour. i feel like we all can agree on safety at least.

Can hay bailes really help much at that speed? I'm not trying to dismiss it, just wondering.

at the event at mt panaroma i saw the bales stacked three high and two wide, it would do something,
who called the local news media for a press conference with the intent of the spot staying low key?
were any of the local skaters against this event happening. surely redbull had to get some permits, were they protested? any letters written to the local government complaining the spot will be overrun with skaters that could kill themselves? people so mindless they would skate down anything if told it could make them go fast.

Why? Why? Why!!!
I just dont get it... What makes you think YOU are right?
Where the hell do you find theories about safety, saying haybales are the thing to have when crashing onto a post at 100mph? How can you criticize and "be soooo right" about things you dont do?
What do you think about WRC? about the Paris Dakar Rally? Where the hell did they put the haybales there?
If you are good at what you are doing, your chances to hurt yourself are small, if you are not very good, you have lots of chances to hurt yourself. Same goes for every sports like the one we do. Period.
You cant control everything around you, and if you crash at 100mph onto a post, you are dead, haybales or not.
We just dont want people that beleive to be good to go on that spot, hurt/kill themselves and ruin it. Therefore we dont want everyone on this website to know where it is.
What the heck dont you understand in this?????
why did aj make the thread if he wanted this kept quiet? thats what i dont understand.
we dont want people to ruin the spot. like you own the roads. and did you take any preventative measures that i mentioned?
something like haybales, is better than nothing.

We dont own the spot stupid. We live there. If someone gets hurt on road with that much traffic that goes that fast, we wont be able to skate anywhere anymore.
Showing a road doesnt mean telling the entire word where it is. If someone wants to ride it, like Dubes, he contacts us or EVEN BETTER the 3bobs.
