Should i use bigger wheels or smaller, im confused.

And why do some people use more than 4 wheels on a luge board???

People used 4 wheels years and years ago.
Then people started doing 4 up front, 2 in back. This is for a) traction in corners b) fighting wobbles and c) so you buy more gear.
People have started doing 4 in front, 4 in back for a) more traction (only way to win something like maryhill now is to stick stick stick) b) because wheels are sold in sets of 4 and c) better handling with no loss of speed.
When people have more than 2 trucks, the outer ones tend to be in contact with the ground at all times while the inside truck(s) are setup to only contact the ground in corners. This is done with risers on the outside trucks.

83mm flys are the standard. Bigger for straighter courses, as small as 76mm (bigzigz) for techy stuff (europe), but 83mm flys will pretty much do it all.
