360 slide on an evo
so my otangs are far beyond broken in, and one of my favorite roads to ride has some pretty slick asphalt, which I've thrown some FAT pendys on. Think I could 360 my evo? anything I should know before I try? (since I'll be going pretty damn fast to do this, I am slightly nervous)

Re: 360 slide on an evo
Its not that hard. Are you talking about standup or handsdown? Standup isn't that hard, it'll probably be easiest initiating toeside.
If you're talking hands down, that super easy. If you can coleman pendy and toeside pendy then you should be able to do this. Slide with your front hand and right as it pulls 180 shift your weight toeside while (optional) putting your other hand down.

Re: 360 slide on an evo
hands down. I'm still scared shitless of getting highsided on a standy at speed.
I was planning on taking a toeside pendy all the way around.

I really don't want to sound like a dick so I'm sorry if I do, but don't post a thread if you're wondering if YOU SHOULD TRY a trick. It doesn't require this much forethought, just go out and give'r.

Re: 360 slide on an evo
oh shut the #### up. Maybe I'm worried about being hands down in front of my board at 20mph with no pads. It's not like I'm asking how to footbrake or some kind of simple bullshit. Besides, I've been forbidden to skate again until my fullface shows up so I might as well ask a few questions before it does.

Calm down man. I'm just saying it's kinda like starting a thread asking if you should try a pendy. Yes. Yes you should try that.
I'm not saying don't do it, by all means give it a shot, it would be cool. But you already seem to know what to do, the only thing you have yet to do it try it, that's why I said starting a thread won't help you.

sorry, I just had to bike through the weather that just suddenly decided to be summer to get my car back from the shop and I'm tired and hungry, making me cranky. and on top of that I can't go skate either.
I was really just worried about the "in front of board" part since I'm used to controlling it from the uphill side, but hell, my otangs aren't gonnat get into the "abused wheels" thread unless I thrash the #### out of em so I may as well.
