Re: Toeside Pendy AGAIN, but with picture!
It sounds like you're trying to force the board to go back around and are winding up just pushing it away from you and pushing your foot off the board. Like I said in the other thread, the board should come back around on its own - if it doesn't, you're either not keeping your weight on your toes or you're not going fast enough. You shouldn't need to do more than keep standing on it.
Here's a video a little while back of me trying to improve my form and doing slides on a grippier hill than I'm used to:
The first two are 2h pendies, about as basic as they can get. The first time I had more or less the problem you were having in your other thread - I don't manage to go all the way around simply because I didn't have enough speed to keep the board sliding all the way back. The second one is hardly the steeziest slide and I basically come to a complete stop at the end, but the board comes back around enough that I can continue rolling (albeit very slowly). I'm not really going fast enough for either slide.
Just keep trying, you'll get it eventually.
Oh, one other thing. How tight are your trucks? If they're so tight that you need to really shove on them to keep them turning, I can see why your foot might slide off.
