Default Looking for an unorthodox tech slide deck

Hey guys, I'm looking for a tech slide deck that isn't just a longer, wider skateboard deck with squared off kicks, I want something different that I can learn to do tech slides on.

    Sooo....any suggestions?

    What else would you want?

You can use a pool board which is what i do.

Oohhh try a Hosoi hammerhead that'll be a cool shape.

check out the hosoi hammerhead that manny mentioned. or a cold war deck. i like this one Oppenheimer ICBM Stage II Skateboard - Cold War Ordnance

i haven't tried those yet, so i can't give any input on how suitable they are for tech sliding. they definitely look sick though.

I use an LAX Pool deck with Slide A's and Indy's. Seems kinda unique.
I have a bunch of skateboards

Isn't this what you're supposed to put in a signature?

Wait, wait, wait... are you looking for a deck that RIDES differently than a normal slide deck or just LOOKS different?

Just looking for something that looks out of the ordinary for a slide deck.

Whaaaa? Why? Dude, function, not aesthetic appeal. I'm just saying. Buy a functional deck if you already know what you want in a slide deck or buy a semi cheap, normal deck if it's your first. Something to build a foundation on in order to find what you would like more in a slide deck. The worry with your approach is if it IS your first slide deck, you might be buying something that really is specialized towards a type of rider that isn't you and you just won't have fun on it. And if it isn't your first, go and buy something that would help you feel more comfortable or efficient while sliding. That's just my two cents. If you really do have a good reason to buy a deck purely based on the fact it looks odd, then by all means go for it.

38" scimitar is very fun on hard wheels. not all ur tech sliding is possible without kick tails though.

Thanks for your insight Roth, and I respect the function>form view but I've decided to just go out and try some pool/slide decks to see how much function I need :P.

And thank you Rob for your input, I just think 1 KS board is more than enough and maybe I should spread the money around.
