Unhappy Just can't kick it out!

I've had a long look around the internet, watched videos etc and I'm still unable to layback/sergio slide.

I go down low, lean back with my hand down and I just cant seem to push out the heelside, even with G&S Cannonballs on.

The current deck I'm using at the moment is a Dervish Flex 2, Paris coulton signature trucks and G&S cannonballs.

Any advice / or anyone in Bournemouth willing to demonstrate I would be very thankful

Try hooking your back foot over the rail so you're pushing with the ball of your foot (toeside) or heel against the rail. Also, put more weight on your hand and go faster.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Laybacks sure are a bitch. Make sure your hands follows down the line of your buttcrack as you go to put it down. Try getting used to just turning like that first. Then turn a bit harder. Eventually you'll turn hard enough that the wheels will break free and you can swing it on round to 180 like the second half of a coleman pendy, but switch. get used to that feeling. get used to that break point. Once you are confident you can break those wheels free, do it again, but pop yer hips up, lock it at 90 degrees and get ready to flatspot yer wheels!
