Default Any suggestions or problems with planned setup

I have a homemade deck that is just under 30" and i want to get more into sliding because my other board, with gumballs and revenge trucks, i am going to use just for bigger hills and cruising.

I want to get just some cheap trucks for now and were looking at the Randal R-11, but dont know what size to get, so id like some help with that and also if these trucks will work with the wheels and will work okay for my board

Randal R-II 150mm Skateboard Trucks Set of 2

the wheels i am planning on getting are the earthwing 62mm slide A, i know these are great for sliding but need to know if they are okay just cruising too or if they are uncomfortable like normal skateboard wheels.

    Earthwing 62mm Slide A Superballs - Set of 4

Also if anyone knows any websites that sells them cheaper than daddies show me please
    Thanks

You will want softer wheels for cruising.

My personal opinion is that I like a longer board for sliding (not sure how tall you are, I'm about 6'3"). My slider is a gravity BE40, it also doubles as a good park board.

Never tried flashbacks, but I have had a few sets of No-Skoolz they can be a pretty good cruising/slider wheel if you dont get too hard of a duro, and they come in 60&65mm.

Like I said, this is what I have tried, just throwin out some input. 8)

cruisin around town or anywhere for that matter will be no bueno on those slide a's.

if you're really set on a small slidey wheel, check out the already mentioned (e.g. orangatang fat frees)
or maybe abec11 Noskools (however you spell that). get them in a duro like 84a -90a, although 90a might be pushing their limits of predictability between slide and grip.
you just highlighted my signature for no reason other than it consists of a empty space. good for you!

    thank everyone,
I ordered the new yellow otang durian freerides, which are 75mm with a 86a duro.

I didnt even know the slide a's were something like 120a duro and that was too much for me. I want to get more into sliding but i dont want to do only sliding.

I cant wait for them to come, should be early next week, along with some pucks for my semi homemade sliding gloves and those randal trucks
