from his body position, it looks to me like it started off as a coleman... then rotated the board 180 whilst keeping the same hand on the ground

this is just my imagination speaking... but if you mentally rotate the bent leg, you can kinda see where i'm coming from

It's a coleman, revert to a toeside, and revert back. Its basically a coleman 360 reverse without moving your body out of coleman position. I have no idea if that makes sense but its easier if you see a video of it.................speaking of video, hold on I might have footage of it
Go to 40 seconds, and he does the first part before the camera can see, and when he tries to sexchange back, he loses the board.

It is, in fact, a coleman revert sexchange, right before the sexchange. I've got a video I'll try to post of some from the 2008 fall slidejam at the Cloisters in Manhattan. . . .

There is plenty of Me and Steve Kong as well as Corey Wilder and many more exceptional skaters. Kaspar and Ali filmed this little video.

It also shows my Madonna slide in the early stages, for those interested in that.

I'm thinking about making some slide school style videos with the rest of the Earthwing Slide Team to showcase and help further the stoke we all love to share. PM me if you have any specific questions.

Yeah I got my head round these a few months back...seen a lot of Brazilians do them.

Basically go into a regular coleman and lock it out at 180 and push your feet out quite far so your all stretched. Then when your nice and balanced keep your shoulders straight, but flip your feet round 180 so you end up toeside...then unwind and come back out the way you went in. Bit of a weird one!

Hope that might help a bit!!

great explanation, it really helped me to visualize the motions of the slide (which can be hard sometimes).

also i tried the practicing on carpet thing that you mentioned in another thread, and it was really helpful, helped me figure out why im sloppy and awkward coming out of T/S hands down 360s, apparently my hand is getting to far away from the board, making it awkward to get back on.

I do it as one fluid movement. It adds to the steeze. That all comes together after doing hundreds of these slides. There are a bazillion variations as well.
