    Question Landy Spud for sliding?

I've been looking into some DH boards and for a while i was looking at the switch. Then i came across the spud. Now im only 5'6" and 125 pounds so i figured it would be a board i could move around a bit more and really control. I was wondering if anyone has tried to do some extensive sliding on the spud and just kinda how it rides in general. Thanks for the feedback.

Depends, do want a DH/freeride oriented board, or a freeride/other board? the spud can do everything teh switch can do but it's not good for DH, since your only 5'6" i would say the spud, more fun for sliding and it also weighs considerably less.

I don't wanna do too much DH. Just like 30-40 mph or so... I really wanted to do more sliding. If i do use it for some DH, i was think more technical slides. But it would be more of DH/freeride board.

The Switch is more versatile. It can slide well and handle speed good, too. I wouldn't recommend the Spud unless you're just looking to slide and commute.

Ya i think Rye's got the right idea, if you wanna hit any kind of speed go for the switch, if it's only for low speed (sub 25ish) then the spud would work.
