Default What to use to adhere velcro to glove

I I know that the sticky backing on the velcro wont last very long on a glove, especially with the use of a sliding glove.
so I want to know whats they best way to keep the velcro on the glove.

    Ideas:
sewing the velcro to the glove, hot clue.

    any other ideas from experience?

    thanks.

2 part epoxy, Shoe Goo, hot glue, and sewing are the only 4 real methods I'd trust. I'm sure there are other glues out there that will work. I'd avoid gorilla glue.

You should use the search tool next time.

I use a single, thick layer of gorilla glue. It seems to work very well.

Don't be concerned about the extreme details. Hot glue is fast but fails on synthetic materials sometimes. If you are using leather gloves, hot glue, shoe repair glue, or epoxy is preferred.

I've used all kinds of **** on gloves. Hot Glue is my favorite. Epoxy and shoe repair glue is fine, but I like tearing up my gloves as soon as I finish them.

I'm on my 4th pair of gloves since I started sliding. I've also helped others make pairs for themselves.

I don't like Gorilla products. I think their tape sucks, their super glue sucks, their wood glue sucks, but I haven't tried their epoxy and I don't plan on it.

Glue it on with high grade binary epoxy, THEN stitch over the whole thing with heavy duty thread.
If its worth doing, it's worth doing right.

Hot Glue is quickest. 2 minutes from start and you're good to go.

Use an appropriate amount of that stuff on the adhesive side of the velcro and stick it to the glove. Put a book or something on the velcro (make sure there's no adhesive leaking out) to keep a steady pressure on it while it dries (about 20 minutes).

    Go shred the gnar!

I'm planning on stitching mine on to reinforce the glue bond, but it's waaay down on my priorities list. That glue isn't going anywhere.

My gloves always end up shredding to bits before the hot glue holding my velcro fails.

I used two part epoxy...and put the glove under my car tire. Its on there for good. I think you would be ok with a few of these options being posted up.

contact sement for me...holding up fine...I used the Locitte Brand, but all these other suggestions work too. A trip to Homehardware or Home Depot will give you more than enough options and in large enough quantities (though I tend to buy them in smaller quantities because I always manage to lose my glue containers before I use all of them up,)
