    Default 3dm Avila 75mm

I just bought these wheels (Avila 75mm,72a) and they are the best sliding wheels I have ever owned... like ICE!

They do slide pretty well once you get them to slide. Major downside: It tears them to peices. After the first day of carving mine, they slipped a bit... Other then the sliding, they grip like mad. The transition from grip to slide is unreal.

Define "unreal". What about like a set of Purple 90a trimmed Avilas from MHS for cruising and some drifting/speed control slides?

and the purple 90a's would probably drift pretty easy, thats a hard duro. idk if they would drift very controlled though.

No, actually I was assuming that I would just get torn apart by people telling me not to use those for sliding. either way I wasted the internet.

I guess it depends on your setup. my 72a avilas can slide out pretty easy on my citybomber with 105mm seismics. It is the light flex version, so maybe the flex has something to do with it. And on the DH Race, they almost can't help but slide.

I don't know, maybe it's like the rouge programs in the matrix like ghosts and vampires. There is probably more useful info in this thread than a good 25% of the other silverfish threads
