I get my half inch UHMW from Industrial Paints and Plastics and it is a different mix than all other UHMW that I've seen thus far. It lasts for a VERY long time, I'm going on 6 months and the pucks and gloves have seen ALOT of action and they're still really thick too. I love UHMW with a passion, the only time I've seen it wear down very quickly is in very, very hot weather on black asphalt.

    With shipping, about $18.

    hey mark,

You might want to check out a local plastic or window place. I got a similar size of UMHW(black) for 4 dollars. They have alot of scrap that they are willing to give up. Might be a cheaper option.

My UHMW arrived yesterday. Looks like there's enough for 3-4 pairs of gloves. If I can get it cut up into decent-sized pieces, I'll have some @ the Sunday garage fest.

That's what my cutting board that I bought 2 days ago is made out of. It slides like butter.
