    Default sliding a flexdex

well i got some 56mm short board wheels and bearing for 5 bucks a few days ago and i decided to learn to slide on them today.

i have a flexdex slalom 30" which has INSANE flex. i mean i can bottom it out but jumping on it and i only weigh 125lbs. this made it pretty hard to control on slides but i got a toeside 180 dwon pretty good. i tried some heelside (colemans?) slides but i couldnt seem to do those as easy. will riding on a stiffer board help me out, or do you guys have sucess sliding flexdex?

a stiff board will definitely help you out, as of rite now, to decrease the amount of force goin into the flex, place ur feet over the trucks so there isnt as much force being absorbed, that should help alot

well, learning to slide at night after a day of school and a party isn't the best idea I did it a few times but i kept losing my night vision when i would see a car then halucinate a pot hole in front of my and not go for it. I still feel really sketchy when i try to do a heelside slide on just my left hand, idk tommorow ill just bomb the hill and go all out, and find some knee pads.

heres my gloves i made yesterday for 4 bucks

just a cutting board i got at the "dollar" store i got for 1.99 and the gloves i got for 1.79. i just duct taped the fingers and wrist off because i got a hole in the finger my first slide. to put the board on i sanded the back then just made ALOT or little cuts and put some 3m 5200 marine sealent on, it was the only thing i had and it seems to be working although i would reccomend melting them on. also the board is cut dwon to 3" by 3.5"
