Learned to slide the hard way....

Today i went skating with a buddy of mine and he decided to take me to a new hill he found the we went there and start just carving down it. Well after i while i decide im just gonna bomb the rest, so i tuck and crouch, and start gaining speed probly about 30-35mph as i started catching up to the car going the residentiall speed limit in front of me. well i keep going down till i get to the bottom to relize its a 4 way intersection with no stop signs any direction and just as i almost get to the intersection a car starts to come in needless to say with out thinking i droped my hand and just turned as hard as i could, went into a perfect 90 degree slide and stopped. all i can say is thank god sliding saved my life. GO CLIFF

wouldnt cars crash into each other if its a 4 way intersection with no stop signs? or does one way yield?
