    Default cueballs? whats the deal?

i recently bought a set of bulldog cueballs (100a dubcons) and strapped them to my sliding setup. I had been previously running the same wheels, but in a softer duro (96a team colored dubcons), so i figured that i would slide further and faster than before.... However, this was not the case. The wheels gripped ALOT more. So much in fact that i could not even pull off my regular slides. I had to go about 50% faster to even pull off a simple toeside or heelside pendy. What's the deal? I thought that the extra hardness with the same wheel shape i was used to would give me a huge advantage for sliding????? I don't get it.

may be because you havent worn them in yet. dubs seem to have quite a different feel once theyre worn in

they are good sliding wheels, holden (formerly team motion, now skates for lush) had them on his bigfish, they slid pretty damn well and took ages to flatspot.

yeah, that was part of the original reason i bought them, cuz i loved the dubcon shape of my old wheels, but had no idea that they came in a harder duro. then i saw holden sliding them, so i decided to try them, but they seem alot more grippy. just doesnt make sense to me. i guess ill try breaking them in...
