Default question about sliding on non sliding wheels

when riding softer wheels that will eventually chunk or cone, what kind of slides do you find to be kindest on the wheels. would it be better to keep more weight on the board or off it? I hate witnessing my 81a strikers that I love so much start to cone pretty bad from just safety slides. thanks for you input.

    jah bless

keep the wheel rolling, thats all I know. Make sure you do a full 180 or pendy and don't drag out your slide do it quick, also less weight on the sliding wheel may help

yeah, my 78a strikers are only 3 weeks old and are coned so bad. It kills me. Now I have to buy some dedicated sliders AND replace the strikers. ugh!
