Default Slide glove idea, Would this work?

I thought about this for a slide glove. But will it last?

It's a leather glove with a wrist guard? It works on smooth tiles but I was wondering how it would work on crete.
Would they ware off to fast?

you would wear through them in one session easiely, without pucks

in sliding you use more of your hand which is much higher up than that wrist guard
    it will not work

I don't imagine this working too well. Not enough surface and it's prolly not very stable beause of how raised it is from your hand. Lack of control.
    Don't do it!

A friend of mine learned sliding on a wrist guard for a long time. He was born a raised for it and still rides it. But I just glued a puck where the guard uset to be. It lasted about a month and then I had to glue a puck to it. If you are gonna slide on it, do just nice small slides or ration it.
