Today it rained and I immediatly thought, I should go slide! So i grabbed my brand new little shlong board, just built over the weekend, and headed out. Wasn't expecting much since I set it up with 75a strikers but it was great anyway I was making some really tight turns. Almost about to pack it in but I decided to move a little further down hill. Crouched down, got some speed, put my hand down and.....the back broke tranction and i went about a foot. The best thing ever...i'm soaked and exahusted and i just can't stop grinning. Best moment ever

Yeah, what sepsis said.
If you don't wipe your bearings off real good after getting them wet, the bearings'll rust.

I`m just getting the hang of the slide thing and always bolt out after the rain.

I`ve started using MTB chain lube(waterproof synthetic dry lube) on my biltins that I use in the wet and it seems to totally protect them from the detriment of water mixed with road grime.
