lol that's always an option.
I don't mind doing extra work to get what I want. I'd rather put in a bit of overtime and be completely satisfied than be forced to put up with something I didn't really want. That and I'm making my gloves because it's cheaper than buying them but I want to make quality gloves. You know?
Anyways, I finally got smart and just clicked the link about corian in the very first post. Apparently, Corian is resistant to heat (which makes it good for sliding since it won't heat up and melt during sessions) and wear resistant. However, it can be melted at temperatures of over 300 degrees Fahrenheit. So I'm going to attempt making my gloves in a couple days.

Wait.... Does everyone but me use the baby corian samples instead of the big ones? I got a couple big ones that cover my entire palm from Home Depot, but when I went back for more I got apprehended for shoplifting. Baby corian, or steal the big ones?

i do not think the big ones were samples i n the 1st place...
buy some slide pucks from the guys like bv or ds if you need them.. and be guilt free

Re: The Definitive Slide Gloves Thread
Baby corian samples suck. Spend 10 bucks and get some legit corian from a dealer.

It takes a family member to help make a family.

Re: The Definitive Slide Gloves Thread
corian tiles only work if its warm outside.. whenever it gets cold if you put your hand down to fast they crack..
if you wanna be cheap use a cutting board, leather gloves, and a blow tourch... they are sick

I got the triple eight gloves and i like the pucks better than the loaded pucks but the gloves for the loaded do seem more durable

How cold was it? I went out with mine in about 40 degree weather (not that that's super cold or anything) and my corian was still as good as ever.
