Hot glue is a quick, solid method. 30 minute epoxy works great. Shoe Goo is the bomb.

I'm in NZ, don't have Lowes here, nor do I know if any shops here have free samples.
I do have some UHMW Polyethylene, so that will be: better than corian/the same as corian/not as good as corian?

UHMW Polyethylene is better i think, just corian is sometimes convenient cause you don't have to cut it and in my case it was free. but for you i guess not, but have i'd have fun cutting and doing all that kinda stuff anyways so

i have used a cutting board from the 99cents store that worked pretty good and some shoe goo. i glued it to the velcro and decicded that wasnt good because the velcro worked longer than the glue because the glue stuck to the leather and cuttign boards longer than the velcro ohh and the gloves i used are just full finger leather gloves. you can buy a 3pack at costco for around 20 bucks and they last pretty long

Where can I get replacement pucks for loaded slide gloves in the UK? One of my palm pucks is about 2-3 mm thick now and I need to get a new one soon. I would like to try some different types of puck since the loaded ones wer so fast.

well i bought some $3 gardening gloves from right aid and basically rapd them in ducktape haha it worked great for a few weeks

gorilla glue also has an epoxy version where it comes out of two tubes and mixes into one. used it to make my gloves and works great

I used that, I'll post pictures of my new gloves soon...

Also, that stuff smells like straight up Gorilla feces.

This place is always worth a look for skating stuff. Kind of weird it's a "Climbing" place but they've had competitive or better deals on a lot of stuff I was looking for.

im very new to sliding and have only done standups as of now. today i decided i would make slide gloves so heres the outcome.



maybe a little overkill but i like it. i'll need to keep the velcro on the glove down better though. any suggestions to attach velcro to the glove better?

Kind of late now, but that will never work. I used to play D3 PSP, and I wore those exact JT gloves (the black ones with barb wire and all that gay ####) for a season of paintball. I loved them casue they had nothing to them and they were very flexible, but my entire palm area was gone after a season.

And thats from playing paintball in grass feilds that are all oily from the paint. So if they couldn't hold up to that, then they sure as hell aren't going to ho;d up to sliding.

I miss those gloves. Only glove I ever had that I could walk the trigger easily without having to cut them.

Yeah pretty late, the "kevlar" ripped off along with the whole palm area. Needless to say I'm much happier with my Landy slide gloves. Damn things are indestructible.
