Working on a new video as well.

I was wondering... it seems like there is a couple types of sliders. Guys who stay in the road and rip all their slides, and then guys who also like to take it up the sidewalks, hitting gaps etc on the way.

Anybody else just love that streetskating sliding mix?

I'm going to San Francisco in a week, excuse my stoke hahahah

HELL YEAH!!! This is the future of skateboarding (beyond the realm longboarding too). IMO Slidiing is just fast loose street street skating.
You're a step ahead of me. I was pondering posting something about this and I was going to use you as an example of someone blending street and sliding.

Speaking in San Francisco and street/slide skating are you going to get the chance to skate with Rob Carter?

Ha thanks man, yea I definitely agree. I see guys like Dennis Busenitz who absolutely kill it and just wished they'd work on they're slides a bit more haha.

I leave for San Francisco the 24th. I'd like to skate with Rob, but I haven't gotten in contact with him yet.

I need to figure out what part of the city I'm staying in but I'm so stoked.

I'm going with my girlfriend who has filmed 90% of my videos haha so i'll definitely be coming back with some rad video!

    Also while I'm stopping by...

Been working on some new tricks. I've been getting the hang of those switch to 270 check slides. Those are pretty nifty. Been working on flowing between my switch and regular slides a lot more as well.

I've been lien grabbing on toeside standup 180s as well, looks pretty cool if you can drag them out like that.

So pissed that I couldn't make it to the event Anton. I was coming back from San Diego, I was in Tijuana the week before on a service trip with my school, good stuff btw and the hills in Mexico are ####### nuts, the grade of the hill that my work site was on was so steep that most cars couldn't make it up (they'd stall out) and that their brakes didn't work in parts of it.

@x-tra: Mark answered this one a while back..

    A 540 coleman is a flatspin.

so a pressure spin is more like a heelside surrender slide and the flatspin is in a more upright position?

I was told a pressure spin is when riding, you kick the board behind you, let it spin ahead of you, then jump back on.
I'm gonna tie you to the radiator and grape you!

Not exactly, a flatspin is when you spin without doing anything, you just spin. A pressure spin is when you force the spin to happen by kicking out the board (with your back foot). I can do a 540 coleman and a pressure spin so I now know the difference between the two better.
