[jshalvorsen] 6:52 pm: but I got my GoPro, cones + trucks yesterday... so I'm just
missing my fullbag, and then I'm ready get my groove on.. oh, and I danced in a
stripping cage just 30minutes ago..
Greenwich Park
Some Park down south which name I can't remember right now (Christal Palace-there it is)
Kennington Bowl-nice n big with banks that go into shoulders
Stockwell Skatepark (Brixton)
Meanwhile l&ll (Kensington)
I skate Richmond Park, but it's 30 mins from the centre of London. The whole of the South Bank is great for skating if you choose your moment when the crowds are gone - an 8pm longboarding trip on a summers evening from Tower Bridge to Waterloo can't be beaten anywhere.
If you want to skate the streets you could try this event:
Im in watford
im into crusing atm but when i get my new board im gunna start dancing
Dude, I work in watford & live in harrow, where there's a couple of nice mellow hills for carving, some great spots for sliding, a decentish run or 2 for DH after midnight & slick car park to practice boardwalking on when the winter comes.
Hi... I'm gonna travel to London later this summer.. and want to buy me some new decks and hardware, just because I can save a lot of money of what it cost here i Norway.
I know maybe this is the wrong thread. But where i London will i find som Longboard Shops??
Okey.. Thanks.. I thought that there would have been more longboard stores near London..
Anyone from london that haves som stores to recommend...?
Best places to hit up IMO are:
Brixton Cycles Website
Dojy Skateboards Website<-personal favourite
Stock selection is nothing like an online retailer like DBS or LBS but they do have more longboard orientated gear than most if not all other skate shops in the city
There's also Heelys near Marble Arch, but they mostly only sell completes & pretty much just Lush/Loaded last time I checked.

Saw your thread on the Lush site too. You may have to order stuff in advance to make sure it's available when you arrive. If want to send stuff to my address to pick up when you're here you're most welcome - and no I won't sell/trade or use it!
You're welcome to come for a skate too.
I'm about 1 hour from Central London using public transport.
Hey everyone. I live in southern Vermont in the US, but I'm doing a semester of college in London this coming fall and I'm bringing my longboard. I mostly cruise and do downhill, and since I'm also a runner, endurance skating is interesting to me. How big is the longboard community there? Hardly anybody around southern Vermont longboards.

We had about 15 people out today, and are looking at a meet of 40+ next sunday so you shouldn't have a problem finding people to ride with!
