New Lush Boards, Graphics, trucks etc
Hi guys, lush have finally posted the new boards on the site, along with lots of new pics of boards. There planning a full release later but i thought i'd post anyway (i'll put the full release up as well). Firstly the lush site has been completely re-organised and they aren't selling the boards in the carve, race and globe series anymore, and they don't seem to be selling as decks only. Also note that the hornet has disappeared, apparently soon to be replaced by something much better.
First up, the kuni now comes with draft trucks, and it's shape has been revised:

Next is the new makonga graphics, and with draft trucks as above (there are also some new pics of the tula but i won't post them as it hasn't changed)

The new bahari has an improved kicktail, extra nose and is now made from a maple and walnut composite. It is coming soon with sabre trucks.

The new samba has a new shape and graphic, and will soon be supplied with sabre trucks and cult wheels.

The new kilima is also made from the maple and walnut composite, and will be coming with cult wheels and sabre trucks. The new kilima has a longer wheelbase, steeper concave larger cut-outs, sharp rails, and finally a shorter tail.

There are also some new pics of the convert and spooky. Lush seem to have opted for sabre trucks instead of holeys (not complaining) and also have opted for draft trucks. some piccies below. They have also finally dropped avalanches, and seem to have done the same with stealth bombers, so hopefully we will be able to get some lush completes without crappy wheels.

Decks: Dervish, Legendary gnome in infinity red, Ceviche.

I'm just glad lush have finally realised that holeys and avalanches aren't the ideal setup for everything.

Were the Avalanche crappy wheels?
I remember them receiving a lot of good feedback at the time...
Also, are Sabre supposed to be better than Holeys? I still haven't tried the latter (but i love their bushings)...
It's always good to see European board makers putting out new stuff, props to Lush!

Yes, in my experience avalanches are horrible, having rode them on a kilima and a samba, i think they got good feedback because the people who were riding them had never ridden good wheels like otangs and zigs (and avanlanches are a good £10 cheaper so they're the cheap solution). And also i've never even heard of draft trucks until now, and they don't have a site .....has anyone else seen any?

Re: New Lush Boards, Graphics, trucks etc
goddamn i need a new deck, my bahari has about had it, not to mention the new deck has cutouts instead of using the wheels to eventually burn them out like i did.
Any news on prices yet?

As far as i know they haven't released prices on the boards with sabre trucks and cult wheels, but the new decks are selling anyway, just look at apollo 11 or stoked.

Re: New Lush Boards, Graphics, trucks etc
have you guys noticed how the Lush prices have gone up about 30% in about a year?
i got my Samba (seismics) a while back for about £150 i think...is about £200 now...but has Sabre and Cult..so spose specs are improving!
but I reckon boards like the Mako offer great value compared to Loaded where the decks are the pricey part at like £150..
I think the Mako must be the best set up value wise as it has the sabre trucks...
seen some new Cult classics wheels out recently too...
Lush are expanding their product range well i reckon...

Re: New Lush Boards, Graphics, trucks etc
i always likes avalanches, better than zigs, zigs are a grip wheel, avalanches are a slide wheel, cant really be compared. for a grip wheel zigzags are a shitload better than otangs, and cults are better than both. in my opinion that is.
prices go up when spec is improved.
cult classics are very good wheels.
sabre are not better or worse than holeys. they are different.
infinity, all the boards you have posted have been on the lush site for quite some time now. and i think rich has already posted them here.
lush dont sell from thier website anymore. just google what you want. i know octane have some lush/cult/sabre things though.
hope that info helped/cleared some things up

don't be stupid, avalanches are a great wheel, for what they're designed for. there not race wheels, never have been. if avalanches had come out last year when all the 'freeride' shenanigans started they would have been really popular. But everyone is entitled to there own opinion, i love my avalanches, been running them for two years, and there still rolling well.
i have no idea why i replied to this post...

Don't think they're out quite yet. Apparently the bushings are awesome though, being tested by them lush chaps as we speak.

Re: New Lush Boards, Graphics, trucks etc
Any opinions on the new Lush 2010 Kuni and Mako that have come out recently? I prefer the simpler graphics on these decks and the Acid Drop wheels on the Kuni look pretty good too.
Haven't really liked the Lush graphics for the last couple of years but seems like they are going for more classic designs.
Anyone agree that Cult wheels are better than Orangatang 4Pres and In Heats?
New Spooky out soon I see on their website. A return to form for a top UK longboard brand??

The topmount that was descirbed as the best commercially available topmount on the market by WeFunk a couple years ago? Yup. anyhoo, it's been discontinued! Looks out for the CHRIS VANSTONE pro model coming out soon.
