    Talking Re: Hyde park

i only just started longboarding, and most of the times i'm hitting the serpentine in hyde park, or the -perfect for learning- little hills of green park just next door, and there are quite a few ppl longboarding, it's actually a pretty nice place to start and learn the basics...there are two better parks in london though, often favoured by longboarders, crystal palace and greenwich park...also there are some sweet hills up on primrose hill in the park, and although it says in the park that skating and cycling are forbidden, i so far didn't have any problems.....

slalomers meet in Hyde park, north side of the Serpentine lake, generally Tuesday and Thursday eves in Summer, and Saturdays. In the winter things change to maybe say and or Sundays. Winter actually is nice as there are less people getting in the way.

A number of boarders do use the same wide path for a bit of a cruise.

Crystal Palace Park and Greenwich are way more hilly but less central.
