skating Oxford and London?

so im gonna be in those two places for 5 weeks this summer, and and bringing my earthwing drifter along. i was just wondering if there were any good hills or concrete bowls?

Go get hold of "London Longboards" on facebook. Regular meets at least once a week. Greenwich Park has a SICK slide hill, crystal palace is fun too, bowls bloody everythwere throughout london.

Join up Longboard-Sessions.co.uk - so much fun you'll sh*t yourself to find uk sessions as well, woop woop! Just enter your location as 'london'. PM me if you can't find the london guys and I'll get someones e-mail to you.

thanks man. i didnt have any trouble bringing my board on the plane, which was good. on friday im probably gonna go check out greenwich, and i might show up on saturday.

funny story, my buddy came there for a few weeks to skate. apparently the road he was on was a private road, and someone preceded to close the road off with the gate. came home with 7 screws and a titanium plate in his arm.

i cant wait to come ride england!

Ace, hope you find the guys, dunno if there'll be people skating. The hill you're looking for is 'lovers walk' I think on the park map...

Rules for the spot:
- No skating when there's prams on the hill
- No skating if you see any cops, sit down and don't make eye contact hah
- Be respectful

a Pram is like a push chair or 'buggy'(?). One of those devices with wheels you stick yer small children in to push them around town/park/whatever.

Hah is it? gutted! go to London then, Greenwich park is RAD. Or come down to Canterbury (about an hour from london by train), we just found a fun hairpin in the countryside! Plus there's a push race in this area next Sunday, winner gets CULT wheels!! OOOHHHH

lol ive been to greenwich park twice the past week. i found a little bowl in oxford about 3 miles from where im staying. its called botley bowl. its tiny and shallow but looks purty cool

Edit: push race sounds fun, but i dont think my earthwing drifter and slide a's would hold up in that lol
