    Default Dorset area?

I've been longboarding a bit on my mates board but got my own yesterday and would love to watch how it's really done! Anyone in Dorset?

Hey dude... quite a big longboarding scene in Bournemouth at the moment...(well for last 5/6 yrs i suppose).

just find your local skate shop that does longboards and get chatting...(if they're decent blokes!)..

most longboarders here use Backyards for hardware and hangin out...otherwise find a facebook group or somethin

Backyards is now YDNA, try carve watersports. I teach kitesurfing there but theres a big longboard crew that ride from the shop (on boscombe highstreet) every friday afternoon some top riders and a really nice bunch of guys! Ive been riding with them recently.

im not actually from dorset, im from london, but ive been staying and working in weymouth over the summer and theres a path that i loved, it goes all the way from the harbour in weymouth to the portland beach road.

its slightly down hill and most of the time has a nice wind behind you. so smooth and quiet.

its nothing challenging, but if your out for an easy cruise or were heading to portland anyway, well worth a visit!

let me know if anyone wants more specific details
