in south Baltimore is an old, late-70s, concrete, longboard-friendly skatepark....and is the oldest free public skate park in the country. Helmet & knee/elbow pads are required....a few are avail for free usage at the gate. All skaters must fill out waiver on-site, 18+ can sign for themselves, 17 & under must have parent sign for them in person or download a waiver from restonskateparks.com, have parent signwaiver at home, then notarize it, and turn it in at skate park. Wknd hours...currently noon-7:30pm, less hours as days get shorter, longer hours in summertime,weekdays: when school gets out til dark...so, that's 3pm-dark... cool peeps despite the ghetto, restrooms on-site. Forget your pads or helmet?... then skate padless/helmetless in the parking lot. :thumb:
