Is Octane Sport Still Trading?

Rang a number of times but no answer and left messages. Many items out of stock, so wondered if its still trading?

They do seem to have a lot of gear out of stock, which is annoying as I want some retro zig zags off them and not many UK companies seem to do them. I am interested to know why, as it seems like ages since they re-stocked their gear.

Yes, Octane are constantly re-stocking their gear and definitely still trading. Out of stock lets you know it may be available later, but what with the uselessness of skate companies, isn't available now. haha.

Sack off the zig zags and get some Cults because they are BITCHING!

Fair enough, as they're in stock which ones would you suggest? Death, Gamma or Classics? Whats the difference?

The orange racey ones are real grippy but slide smoothly. They are a race/downhill wheel.
The blue ones are MORE grippy and really made for 40mph+. they are a race/DH wheel.
The classics slide like buttery goodness and are a perfect all round funtimes wheel.

Depends what kind of thing you wanna ride. I usually only strap on the death or gamma for trips to Europe or going fast. Everything else is more fun on classics.

Might have a look at the classics. I commute, carve, do sweet tricks and plan on doing some sliding, given practice.

Yeah I'd hit the classics then, more of an all round wheel and much cheaper. On my 3rd set now.

We are definately still trading....in fact we are busier than ever.

Abec 11 Zigs in green ran ouit at all 3 of our usual suppliers. (we dont/wont deal with the EXPENSIVE one that does supply a few shops on a drop ship basis.)

There are quite a spate of stores listing longboard gear (especially Abec11, Loaded and LAndachtz) who dont actually keep stock. Its sent out from Liverpool.

We do have some other nice gear, and should have Abec 11 on full stock soon. (we do Centraxes for example that no one else has in the U.K.).

If you leave a message on the phone or email you should get a reply. But if the phone isnt answered it might just be because its:
