Hi I just got a longboard the other day and have been flying round central london the last few days and was just wondering if there were any other skaters in the area up for late night cruises around the capital.
I live in E1 right near the City area so it's completely dead after 12 and on the weekend and would like to hook up with more skaters interested in cruising and having fun, so far I've just crusied City, Bank, the Thames (not in it but around it )
anyway, if you'se up for skating, me and my two longboarding buddies would love to hook up and carve up the city.
Hey man, well I'm not actually IN London, but it'd be rad to go for a cruise up there sometime. I need someone to show me where the quiet bits are without all the goddammed people. I'm down in Canterbury, same deal applies, if you'd like to hook up for a skate come on down!

Nice one, not sure if i'll ever come to canterbury ( I don't really venture out of zone2) but If you are coming down to london send me an email and you'll be more than welcome to hook up with us and cruise central, not always that hilly but plenty of smooth cruising around some fancy landmarks, security seems more laid back when you're not hopping along marble ledges
I've only got 38" bustin cigar, my mates got a 38" Mindless and the other has a short flexboard so not much boardwalking, i can just about manage a couple of steps but on a turn, the other can't, i can manual, almost ollie and do kickturns but what i'm interested in at the moment is getting it down, i got some gloves the other day from the pound shop and took it to a multistorey car park near me (Whites Row Car Park EC1) it was mint! I can't wait to get on some big slopes but am a bit wary about bombing it. Mostly like to cruise around central and East london, I board East to West everyday and the traffic is a nightmare (cars n people)
Am thinking about getting a real longboard though, either that or back to a short board
