holeys or randels ??

hi everyone before people have a go at me this is the only place that i can talk to my fellow english dudes. and i need a couple of questions answered.

ok.

i need to know what to buy either holey trucks or the randels. the only people i have spoken to is some Americans but they gave a biased view because randels are for more popular in the states. has anyone used the holeys??? does anyone have them?
need some information!!!!!

and holeys are great... but people say the same about randals... just get what you like the look of

If you get Holeys you save on import costs. Maybe not a deciding factor but something to consider.

That bias might come from the fact that Holeys are made in China, not England and Randals are made in America. There is also a long list of other advantages such as 5 different base plate angles available for the Randals, multiple hanger options (both neutral and non-neutral caster), grade 8 axles and kingpins, lifetime guarantee, parts available separately, etc. If they are the same price in England, then it seems you get a little more options with the Randal.

I have Holeys, and have tried Randals and others.
Depending on what kinda board you're gonna use them on i would say go for the Holeys.
Easy to get hold of in England.They are a lot of fun.Good all round.

Depends what you want. Holey bottom bushings have a terrific feel quite different from the equivalent Randall offering. Randalls have a far greater list of available options.

As has already been mentioned, political considerations regarding where these trucks are made should be taken into account. Holeys are made in China, a country with an apalling record on human and animal rights and one of the earth's biggest polluters. Randalls, on the other hand, are made in the USA, a country with an apalling record on human and animal rights and one of the earth's biggest polluters.

i still say holeys. i've got all the bushings for them now. i'm a real fanboy.
they are the nutz.
those holey smokes soft bushings made me grin like when i first put indy reds in my randal 150's.

went out for some speed on sunday (had some good runs on the mellow yellows cranked down), but changed to the smokes for a chill whilst cooking my soup on the stove. i didn't change back, carvarama baby!!

I like randals because you can customise them easily. Holeys are also nice though. I have a setup with each of them if you wanna try it dude.

China's industry will clean up as they get richer and more modern, just as ours did. Remember the smog of LA in the 1970's? Looks a lot like Shanghai today.

So boooo to China-bashing. If US companies keep up innovation (which is what we're good at) they'll be fine. Competition is good, and the nationalistic argument is kinda shallow. Holey trucks are great carvers, and I was surprised to hear they're made in China -- they're really well-made and the castings are super-clean. That said, I'm stoked for the new Randal's too with the new axles and baseplate selection. Viva international competition.

i have bought a helium pump from the local party shop and i am presenlty typing this suspended eight floors up, sat in the lotus position and holding an umbrella at a slight angle to keep the drizzle that is being driven at my laptop at a strange angle off the keyboard.

thanks for rhe offer dude but ive kinda tyed the knot now :S ive gone with the randels!. because i know its a safe bet but year ive done it now the hardest question the world has ever known and ive gone with the randels hahahahaaahaha well im stoked cant wait till they get hear!! gunna be great with my Bilitin bearings and gumballs.
