Default East London

Hey,

I've just moved around Hackney and am looking for some sweet places to roll. Any suggestions for local spots would be awesome.

...Anyone, anyone....

yeah, i live round hackney. haven't spotted anywhere worth hitting to be honest... roads don't seem to be in great condition, and there is just too much traffic on anything even vaguely worthwhile...

parks are pretty smooth if you want to do flatland? i sometimes take my big Kisiwa to victoria park for some boardwalking. Other than that, it's best to meet up with a few of the guys on the lush forum who meet in Grenwich at the weekends.

A couple of years ago you could have sneaked onto the Eastway cycle circuit, but that's now gone because of the Olympics.
Do you know about the Hackney bumps in Homerton? It's worth venturing to at least once. And there's a quiet downhill path in the park on the other side of Homerton high street.

The Hackney bumps are in the first part of this video, and the "hill" I mentioned is at the end.

Lovein The Hackney bumps, any chance you could post a postcode or a longitude latitude from google earth so I can go along and have a play? Same with the hill?

There's a high rise car park near Spitafield markets that seems like it doesnt have a security guard after around 8. I havn't tried it yet. Anyone else know of some decent carparks worth bombing?

ACE!

I'm keen for a skate up. Possibly this Sunday? 13/04/08 It'll have to be a late one so there isn't any security guards to fail the fun.

hey, I used to live in Whitechapel and used to skate around the City area on a sunday cos its absolutley dead. You may want to try it out, Farringdon way, Liverpool street st, monument. No real big hills but plenty of quiet roads since the city suit types and money sees to stop on a sunday.
