Anyone around Eastbourne??

A few friends and I live in Eastbourne, East Sussex . We skate around Eastbourne but would really enjoy meeting up with some other Longboarders in the area. If anyone's out there we could meet up once the Weather cheers up : )

Man i just moved from eastbourne, but used to skate there every day it was good to ride! I got friends that are still there and they skate, i will try and put you in touch. How long you been skating and what sort of skating you into? downhill, boardwalking or just cursing?

i'll be in eastbourne for a week after gofast, with a mate, will be happy to skate with you and you can show us the spots and stuff,

Yea rob i'll only be back for the race, then have to shoot back to the island for work, if my mates are around then i sure they wouldn't mind hanging out and showing you some of the spots to skate round the sunshine coast.ahah

Werd, I and mah "crew" will be at the Eastbourne race. We live only an hour away in Canterballs, maybe we/you should do a visit?

Cheers Aidan and sorry for the delay in the reply as this thread has been dead for ages. I've been skating for about 2 years now with bursts of activity and then some quiet times. My friends range from about my standard (competent) to slightly amateurish. I'd say i'm an average longboarder. My friends and i tend to a bit of crusing with some moderate downhill thrown in the mix. Nothing too hardcore but just a nice selection of hills. If you could hook me up that would be great as its been a while since i went on a proper skate.

@gavmck, thanks for the offer if i'm ever in the area i'll drop you a line or something.

@Rob, Sounds good however i may unfortunately not be in Eastbourne when the event is happening which is a little annoying.
