Too late to edit, but I just ordered a book off of Amazon that I think is it and I'll most likely be scanning it so all of the 'Fish may have it.

Here's one I build last year, not for this thread though. Just a cool board to fit into my suitcase for weeklong trips somewhere and it's more fun than a barrel of monkeys!!

27"x7.1/2" made out of three layers of 3mm (1/8") BB plywood with Tracker 106 RTX/RTS and some 61mm S9's. I'd say it kinda fit this thread, any opinions?

Might add some fiberglass soon as it made a slight cracking sound the other day. Could have been only my imagination though as I'm quite careful with it as it is so thin.

I'm thinking of posting my ceiling fan board. Hardly fits your requirements, but still very 70's inspired.
Also, to MilotheFultz: if you post those scans up, you will be a true internet hero.

Any way to get the title of this old book? I'd love to track one down. Also, if one was to make a solid wood deck (as opposed to laminate) what would be the wood of choice? what would be the most period correct wood for say. . mid '70's?

Oak was by far the most common, but birch and ash were also used...
