To the OP: This tool is totally outdated. It has no socket for mounting hardware, and my skateboards don't have any enormous straight-slot bolts on them.

The Carver tool is close to perfect, but the axle-nut socket needs to extend further to deal with wide lipped wheels and the kingpin socket should be deeper to accommodated longer kingpins.

You know the reverse king pin has been around earlier than the 50's. I guess it is not out dated aether!! Just to think that I was seven and skating on a reverse set up back then and now. What's a trip!!

I love my project tool. Small and very easy to carry. Light and steel.

I only use Allen hardware... GK skate tool and a fix stix. If I need to take one in my pocket it depends if I'm on my Grind King short board or any of my other boards with traditional kingpins
I have a bunch of skateboards

Isn't this what you're supposed to put in a signature?

The old school skate key is nostalgia. I had one for 30 years and lost it at a skatepark last year and got another. I have a unit tool also, it's better, but just not the same.
A couple wrenches in your pocket is all you need though, it's not like tuning a skateboard is rocket science, whatever you have at the moment is the best tool.

Yea it does hurt allot, been there felt that. I use something like schmoose is using now. I owned a A Hess (I got it with my first board, a powell peralta ripper - 80's) but never liked the thing. Don't know why. I guess its functional, but I didn't like the way it felt. I like T shaped tools that are one piece. Personal preference.
