Your Favorite Old School Video
ok boyz - I have seen many of these, but sure I have missed some.
I would have to say my favorite is still Animal Chin
I would also include the Dogtown & the Z Boys, Rising Son Hosoi ect. as
these are about the 70's and 80's.
What is yours?

Santa Cruz's first 3 videos: Streets of Fire, Wheels of Fire, and Speed Freaks
Powell-Peralta's Bones Brigade Video Show, Future Primitive, and Search for Animal Chin
The very first Thrasher Skate Rock home video
Various contest videos from the 80s
Downhill Motion
Vision Skateboards has a video with Agent Orange, that one was cool too...
Alva's Backyard Annihilation, and if anyone has a copy they can make me a copy of, PLEASE CONTACT ME, it would be greatly appreciated!

If you skated in the mid to late 70's this one will bring back a lot of memories. It's a 7 parter. Lot's of fun.

You can't always write a chord ugly enough to say what you want to say, so sometimes you have to rely on a giraffe filled with whipped cream.

SKATEVISIONS is the name of the old school Vision video with Agent Orange, as I just picked up a copy of Skatevisions at the merch table at the FEAR, Agent Orange, DI, & Total Chaos show I saw on Tuesday night. Its got Lester Kasai skating and breakdancing. It also has some footage of Jeff Phillips (RIP) and Gator in his prime...

Re: Your Favorite Old School Video
Another vote for "Skateboard Kings".
It was broadcast on BBC TV.
IIRC, it was part of a Sunday night geographical-docu series, called "The World About Us". It will presumably(?) be somewhere in the BBC archive, but it hasn't been shown again, AFAIK.
I obtained a home-burned DVD copy a few years ago. The A-V quality wasn't up to much and the actual disk died after a while.
I was still glad to have an opportunity see it again, though, as memories of it were still etched in my brain from 30 years before - draining backyard pools, Alva riding desert pipes etc.
Also:
Early Powell videos and the Z-Boys docu,
Don't Spook The Horse.

I watch that movie at least 2 - 3 times month.
Glad to know I am not the only one that watches these things
again and again.
Lots of LaCosta in that one samhell. Spyder Wills / Greg Weaver had
a way with a camera. Chasing the Lotus (surf film by Wills & Weaver)
is awesome also.
