    Default Vintage Deck Library

Last year, my friend Adam Roe (formerly flatland freestyle skater in the 1980's sponsored by the Swatch team) started building a collection of skateboards documenting the roots / history of skateboarding. The walls of his film production office and home are now covered with old vintage decks. My favorite is the plank of wood with rusty nails holding the trucks; I want one just like it.

nice! i'd love to check that out. thanks for sharing.

Brewce at Skatopia has one of the biggest collections. i think
it's over 1800 boards by now. i think i read that number correctly.

Adam says he contantly bids against 3 other guys in auctions that have similar collections. Brewce is probably one of them.

That's so funny.....I was just talking to one of my coworkers about a 'Big Red' skateboard that one of my friends had when I started skating 20years ago. I tried to find an image on the web but couldn't! Good stuff! Thanks Ned!

yeah i'm thinking about building a crate scooter for our Blue Ridge session and talking Longbord1 into bombing a hill on it. that would be soooo sweet.
