I.D. this vintage board please

i got thins board at a yard sale for a buck. came with trucks and rollerblade wheels but i forgot where i put em. anywase there are no logos of any kind on the board and i was wondering if anyone knew anything about it.

Looks like what I would call an Argos Special. Piece of **** in other words. (Argos is a large catalogue chain over here)

well i don't plan on ridin it on the top only 1 dude is playin soccor the other is slidin. (i know the glare is terrible)

Yeah, it looks like just another one of the mass-market cheap-o boards made in the early 90s

he's not playin soccor i took a close look at it he's pushin off and the board rubbed off

i would say older i didn't think that they made boards in the nintes with all that plastic the trucks had a lapper on em (pink plastic) and 1/2pink risers and pan head bolts evrething was stock (i know because there was still shrink wrap under it)

If i wanted to I could still go and buy a board like that from argos or the newsagent in town. Also the shrinkwrap under the rails etc is a good giveaway that its a junk board.

well then why is he skating in a wrestling outfit then? i dunno, soccer, wrestling, sliding, either way, it was worth a buck. hell, it woulda been bargain at twice the price!

Yeah, even though it's a Toy's R' Us board it's still pretty cool I think. And if you hold on to it for awhile it can be special 30 years from now. You can say it was a cheap board made in the eighties and people will be amazed.

No, cause i have a Nash that i got in like, 93 and it came with plastic trucks & a nose guard & thats it. It had Biltin style bearings which was kinda cool, but only recently has nash & variflex & all the cheapo mass-market brands shrink wrapped the decks before they mount everything.

Defiently a blue light special. For a buck though, you can't beat that. I'd take that sucker out and beat the hell out of it. I've seen K-mart boards take alot of abuse and still roll. I dropped one off a third story fire escape and the damn thing didn't even chip
