From what I've found there are a few companies from back in the day that mimiced the Bennett hangers.
    ACS, Newporter, Makaha, several others.

They're only worth it if you collect them(these look in good shape) I sold a set 5 years ago for 650.00...cause $650.00 was worth more to me than the trucks!!! And I paid 50.00 for them in 1978 and they sat in a box. (I did use one for a front on a speed board)

Is there a guide on the internet for what are collectible brands and what are not? I saw Bennett, Flexdex and Tracker vintage stuff selling for the most.

Also, If I wanted one to ride, what it my best choice?

While ACS had square hangers, there was no confusing them with Bennetts. Both had their own very distinctive look. Those Newporters are dead ringers for ACS 500s, and were probably made for them by ACS...

    Vintage Z-Flex Jimmy Plummer Model NOS - 1970's - eBay (item 300214007067 end time Apr-13-08 10:10:49 PDT)

I think it might be a bad idea to go looking for a vintage board to actually ride instead of display....

Maybe I could try making one. Are these trucks decent or am I better off going with Bennett's and Tunnel Rocks?
